How do you vet locksmiths?
Every locksmith passes a photo ID check, shows public liability insurance and a basic DBS check, proves their trading name and address, and has a phone interview with us before their first job.
What if the locksmith tries to charge more?
They can't, unless you approve a new price in writing in the app. Report any problem within 7 days and we act on it: overcharging earns a strike, and three strikes or one serious case means removal.
Why can't I see the locksmith's phone number straight away?
So locksmiths compete on price and reviews rather than cold-calling you. Numbers are swapped the moment you accept a quote.
